Old Software Never Dies
Posted by Tony on 15th February 2016 at 22:59:03
It's four years since I last had a paying gig writing and maintaining computer code, and almost all my code that runs TransForum dates to before the end of the last calendar millennium. So there was an expectation that when our web server was upgraded to necessarily current system software, something might break which would need me to look at that code again. On the reading side, nothing appears to have, so this note is in part a test of the writing side, but also a note to self about a theme I should expand on when I've sufficiently advanced my clean up from a fire-disturbed summer and consequent back log.
