That post must appear way too dense. Most of the ideas mentioned should be unpacked a bit when there is a chance to post some more of notes, but there are a couple worthy of immediate clarification.

"Life in a Tube" is the working name for continued explorations of borders and bands using LifeLab as mentioned in a post below.

LifeLab can also be set up to run Fredkin's CA as well as any of Wolfram's 1D rules.

Just for the record, right now I have way too many recently active projects beyond the point of no return, especially:

    • Hive
  • Life in a Tube
  • tetrahedral geometries
And before anyone complains I'd better mention that I do know why this forum drops you back to post number 1 when you post a new message and that I do plan to fix it when I get a chance.
