India has much to recommend it, including a government that has its head screwed on with respect to privatisation and foreign investment. I have noted a swell of young American-trained Indians - innately sceptical of the New World's false charms - returning there, or planning, to start technology businesses. Since the US education level is dropping, while its overpaid white classes refuse to take a realistic view of their "entitlements", talented and bullshitproof young Indians should be in a good position to pick up the pieces while the US industry enjoys its overdue correction.
